Installing starter motor
CAUTION:
Improper routing of the positive battery cable.
Risk of short circuits!
Risk of short circuits!
- Route the positive battery cable without abrasions and do not trap.
- Insert and install the starter motor.
- Tighten the screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Feed the positive battery cable (2) in on the starter and install.
- Tighten nut (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
| Battery positive lead to starter | ||
| M8 | Tightening torque | 13.5Nm |
- Insert and install sealing cap (2).
- Install sealing cap (2) in the direction of the arrow.
- Connect and lock the connector (1).
- Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.
