61 31 204 Replacing operating unit for seat adjustment (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Special tools required: 

• 2 298 505 .

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove OUTER COVER ON FRONT SEAT .

Removal: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Press operating unit (2) down slightly at the detent (3) using special tool 2 298 505 and lever out the detent (3).

Release operating unit (1) from detents (2) in the direction of the arrow.

Installation: 

Insert operating unit (1) in area (A) and clip into support (2) in the direction of the arrow.

Make sure that the operating unit (1) is fitted correctly at the detent (2).

Connect connector (3).
