33 31 013 Replacing rear cross member (Countryman models with AWD, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove CROSS MEMBER .

Removal: 

Loosen screws (2).

Remove additional weights (1) from rear axle support (5).

Release screw (4).

Remove hydraulic vibration absorber (3) from rear axle support (5).

Installation: 

Position additional weights (1) on rear axle support (5).

Part:  Replace screws (2).

Tighten down screws (2).

Tightening torque 33 31 7AZ .

Position hydraulic vibration absorber (3) on rear axle support (5).

Part:  Replace screw (4).

Tighten screw (4).

Tightening torque 33 31 5AZ .
