Perform wheel alignment after the following repair work. Refer to 32 00 150 KDS CHASSIS/WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH VEHICLE LOAD UP TO DESIGN POSITION (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) or 32 00 155 KINEMATICS DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM WHEEL ALIGNMENT WITH RIDE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT WITHOUT LOADING THE VEHICLE (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV) .
- Release the following screw connection:
- Steering box to front axle support
- Tie rod end to tie rod
- Wishbone to front axle support
- Replacement of following parts:
- Front axle carrier
- Bellows (if the tie rod end has to be screwed off)
- Steering gear
- Swivel bearing
- Tie rod end
- Tie rod
- Wishbone
- Rubber mount with holder for wishbone
