41 62 014 ADJUSTING TRUNK LID REP-REP-RAF6041-4162014 - V.1 (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Attention:

Do not damage adjoining body parts.

Minor corrections (realignment work) are permitted if the existing adjustment options are not sufficient.

Observe BODY GAP DIMENSIONS REP-REP-RAF6041-4106200 - V.1 (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) .

The trunk lid must be provided with all attachment parts for correct adjustment.

Necessary preliminary work

Remove the REAR SPOILER .

Check stop (1) left and right for damage and replace if necessary.

Slacken screws (1) on both sides as long as the trunk lid can still be shifted.

Adjust trunk lid laterally and longitudinally.

NOTE: When the trunk lid is closed, the striker must not bump or scrape against the tailgate lock.
If necessary, remove STRIKER .
If the adjustment range is not enough, slacken screws (2) on both sides.
Adjust trunk lid at the side and in height to the roof outer skin.

After Installation note:

Tighten all nuts to the specified torque, Tightening torque 41 62 1AZ/2AZ .
Installing the STRIKER if necessary.
Adjust STOP PAD .
Touch up unpainted surfaces in the appropriate color.
