Preparing New Part

The bonding surfaces of the new parts may not sharpened or ground.

- Mark and make the separating cuts on the new part in accordance with the separating cuts on the vehicle.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Reinforcement plate with stud bolt (glued or welded) - Prepare the reinforcement plates for the welded connection and the bonded connections on the separating cuts.
- Adjust the D-pillar reinforcement plate (1) and the universal reinforcement plate (2).
- Fit in new part.
- Set 4 bores in the area (1) with 0 4.2 mm for blind rivets.
- Prepare remaining areas for bonded rivet connections with punch rivets.
- Remove new part and deburr bores.
