Installing The Rear Left Side Panel
- Fasten the reinforcement plate to the D-pillar with spot-welds.
- Clean all bonding surfaces with solvent cleaner R1.
- Apply adhesive to the reinforcement plates.

Installation of cavity sealing (expanded) - Apply sealant to the cavity sealings.
- Apply adhesive to the bonding surfaces on the vehicle.
- Install the side wall with the help from another person.
- During installation, ensure that sufficient adhesive has been applied to all bonding surfaces.
- Align the side wall in the areas of the separating cuts and secure it with locking pliers.
- Tighten the nuts on the reinforcement plate.
- Rivet the side panel according to the new part preparation process with blind rivets N3.
- Rivet the side panel in the areas (1) to (7) with punch rivets N4.

- Weld the separating cut to the D-pillar.
- Secure the side panel in the area (9) with locking pliers until the adhesive has hardened.
- Use 8 punch rivets N4 in the area (1).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

EMC screws - After the adhesive hardens in the area (1) install two EMC screws.
