Prepare New Part

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the spindle drive.
Shifting the trunk lid manually can damage the spindle drive.

Only shift trunk lid slowly hand force.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Adhesive technology in the area of the outer skin (not for structural adhesion):
The bonding surfaces of the new parts may not sharpened or ground.

Mark the separating cut (1) on the new part according to the separating cut on the vehicle + approximately 10 mm for additional material and cut.
Select the separating cut on the new part so that the new part can be fitted flush with the rear light housing.

Adjust tail cowling in combination with trunk lid and rear lamps and secure.

In the area (1) to (5), set bores 0 4.2 mm for blind rivets.

Remove new part and deburr holes.
