41 14 505 REPLACING REAR LEFT OUTER WHEEL ARCH SECTION (REAR QUARTER PANEL REMOVED) REP-REP-RAF6041-4114505 - V.2 (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Follow procedure for REPAIR STAGE 2 !
Stripping and rebuilding operations of the surrounding text of Commercial Service Data (FRU number: 41 14 505).
Use only an approved SPOT WELDER for repairs!
Following new body parts are required (see Electronic Parts Catalog):
- (1) Outer wheel arch section
- (2) End plate, outer wheel arch section
- Shaped part, C-pillar, outer
Removal
Remove cavity sealing (1).
Open welded connections in area (2).
Mark severance cut (1) as pictured and cut.
Remove section for outer wheel arch section.
New part preparation
Mark the severance cuts on the new part in accordance with the severance cuts on the vehicle + 20 mm extra material and cut.
Adjust and secure the new parts in combination with the side panel.
Prepare the new parts in areas (1) and (2) for joining by welding.
Prepare the area (1) so that all 3 panels are welded together.
Prepare the new parts for joining by welding In area (1).
Installation
Install new parts and weld in areas (1) and (2).
Apply sealant to new CAVITY ACOUSTIC BAFFLE . Install cavity sealing (3).
Weld new part in area (1).
