For stripping and rigging operations, refer to the surrounding text of the KSD (FRU number: 41 12 653).

Following new body parts are required (see Electronic Parts Catalog):

1. Luggage compartment floor, left section
2. Rear left wheel arch extension

Removal 

Cut the cut (1) as shown on the schematic diagram.

Open welded connections in area (2).

Open welded connections in area (1).

Remove luggage compartment floor.

New part preparation 

Mark severance cut on new part in accordance with severance cut on vehicle and disconnect.

Prepare the new part for joining by welding and adjust in combination with the side panel and the tail panel.

Installation 

Install the new part and weld in the area (1).
