34 52 525 Replacing one front pulse sensor (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed  :

• Remove front wheel.
• PARTIALLY DETACH FRONT wheel arch trim panel.

Removal  :

Release screw (1) and remove pulse sensor (2).

Remove cable from holder on spring strut.

Disengage cable from holders (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Installation  :

Clean hole for pulse sensor and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease (refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids).

Attach brake pad wear sensor in holders (1).

Connect plug connection (2).

Install pulse sensor (2).

Insert screw (1) and tighten.

Tightening torque 34 51 4AZ .

Install cable in holder on spring strut.

Required follow-up work  :

• Install front wheel arch trim panel.
• Install WHEEL .
