52 26 199 Removing and installing/replacing rear panel on left (right) rear seat backrest (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Removal:

Carefully lever out the rear panel in the marked area (1) using a suitable tool.

Lever out backrest cover (2) all round from the backrest frame.

Remove rear panel (1) from backrest.

Installation:

NOTE: Rear panel must noticeably engage with the backrest frame (1).

Install rear panel (1) in backrest.

Press the welt of the backrest cover (1) into the frame starting from the top.
