52 26 000 Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear seat (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Removal procedure for the right rear seat is analogue to that for the left rear seat as shown here.

Removal:

Unclip covers (1) towards front.

Release screws underneath.

Shift rear seat forwards slightly.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unfasten cable tie (2).

Fold rear seat (1).

Unscrew the screws (2).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Protect door sill and door sill area with protective covers.

Remove the rear seat (1).

Installation:

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Protect door sill and door sill area with protective covers.

Install the rear seat (1).

Tighten down screws (2).

Tightening torque 52 26 9AZ .

Connect the connector (1).

Secure cable clip (2).

Tighten bolts under the covers (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 9AZ .
