Remove tailgate trim panel

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVE THE POWER TAILGATE SWITCH .
• Refer to REMOVE THE TRIM FOR THE TOP REAR WINDOW FRAME .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH TRIM PIECES FOR THE REAR WINDOW FRAME .

• If applicable, remove the warning triangle from the tailgate trim panel (2).
• Unscrew the bolts (1) at the tailgate trim panel (2).

• Unclip the tailgate trim panel (2) at the detents (1) and remove it toward the bottom.
