Replace rear bumper panel
NOTE:

- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVE THE SERVICE CAP FOR THE TAIL LIGHT ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT AND RIGHT TAIL LIGHTS .
- Refer to REMOVE REAR BUMPER TRIM .
- Removing left and right rear reflectors
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Remove rear reflector
- Release all detents (1) and remove the cover.
- Release clamps (1) and remove the rear reflector.
- Remove the diffuser
- Release detents (1) (arrows),
- Remove the diffuser (2).
- Replacement: Remount ultrasonic sensors
- Unlock the detents (1).
- Remove the ultrasonic sensor (2) towards the top,
- Remove all other ultrasonic sensors,
- Snap all ultrasonic sensors into the bumper.
- Removing the center spoiler from the rear bumper cover
- Loosen the detents (1).
- Remove the bumper cover (2) from the center spoiler (3).
- Installing the center spoiler on the rear bumper cover
- Clip in the center spoiler (3) with the detents (1) at the bumper cover (2).
- Install the diffuser
- Clip in the diffuser (2) with the detents (1) (arrows).
- Make sure that the detents (1) are correctly fitted.
- Installing the left and right reflector
NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.Installing rear reflector
Check
- Check the clamps (1) on the rear reflector (2) for damage.
Result
» The clamps (1) are damaged.
Measure
- Renew the rear reflector (2).
- Position the rear reflector (1) and clip it in.
- Position cover (1) and clip in.

- Refer to INSTALLING THE LEFT AND RIGHT TAIL LIGHTS .
- Refer to INSTALL THE SERVICE CAP FOR THE TAIL LIGHT ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
