Completely remove power electric windows at rear
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP AT THE REAR DOOR .
- Refer to REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SOUND INSULATION FROM THE REAR DOOR .
- Secure the door window glass (2) when it is closed on the door frame with adhesive tape.
- Spread the older (1) on the door window glass
(2) with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) until you can detach the door window glass (2).
- Operate the power electric windows to shift it down approximately 10 cm and thereby detach the holder (1) from the door window glass (2).
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) from the flat motor (2).
- Loosen nuts (1).
- Feed the power electric windows completely (2) out of the inner door panel and remove it.
