Replace rear bumper panel

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVE THE SERVICE CAP FOR THE TAIL LIGHT ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT AND RIGHT TAIL LIGHTS .
• Refer to REMOVE REAR BUMPER TRIM .

• For replacement: Remount the diffuser 

Remove the diffuser 

• Release detents (1) (arrows).
• Remove the diffuser (2).

  Install the diffuser 

• Clip in the diffuser (2) with the detents (1) (arrows).
• Make sure that the detents (1) are correctly fitted.

  • Replacement: Remount ultrasonic sensors 
• Unlock the detents (1).
• Remove the ultrasonic sensor (2) towards the top.
• Remove all other ultrasonic sensors.
• Snap all ultrasonic sensors into the bumper.

  • Remove the side section of the bumper cover 
• Loosen the detents (1).
• Remove the side section (2).

  • Install the side section of the bumper cover 
• Clip in the side section (2) with the detents (1),

  • Removing the center spoiler from the rear bumper cover 
• Loosen the detents (1).
• Remove the bumper cover (2) from the center spoiler (3),

  • Installing the center spoiler on the rear bumper cover 
• Clip in the center spoiler (3) with the detents (1) at the bumper cover (2).
