Removing the trim on the front bumper cover

Mechanical effects .
Paint damage .

Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER .
Refer to REMOVE THE ORNAMENTAL GRILLE IN THE LOWER CENTER OF THE FRONT BUMPER COVER .

Release trim (1) at the detents along the dashed line and remove.
