Replace bumper cover, front

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER .

• Removing the ornamental grille from the front bumper cover at top center 

• Loosen screws (2).
• Unclip in the ornamental grille at the detents (1).

  • Installing the ornamental grille on the front bumper cover at top center 
• Clip in the ornamental grille at the detents (1).
• Tighten screws (2).

  • Removing the ornamental grille from the center bottom bumper cover 
• Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
• Detach the applicable cable clips on the ornamental grille (2).
• Detach and remove the ornamental grille (2) at the detents (3).

  • Installing the ornamental grille on the center bottom bumper cover 
• Clip in the ornamental grille (2) at the detents (3).
• Clip in the applicable cable clips on the ornamental grille (2).
• Connect plug (1).

  • Removing the ornamental grille from the bumper panel on the side 
• Basic version:  Unclip the ornamental grille (1) toward the front.

  • Installing the ornamental grille on the bumper cover on the side 
• Basic version:  Clip the ornamental grille (1) in from the front,

  • Replacement: Remount ultrasonic sensors 
• Unlock the detents (1).
• Remove the ultrasonic sensor (2) towards the top.
• Remove all other ultrasonic sensors.
• Snap all ultrasonic sensors into the bumper.

  • Removing the center spoiler from the bumper cover 
• If necessary, remove the associated wiring harness.
• Loosen the detents (1).
• Remove the center spoiler (2).

  • Installing the center spoiler on the bumper cover 
• Clip the center spoiler (2) into the detents (1).
• If necessary, insert the associated wiring harness.

  • Remove both supports for the fog lights 
  NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

  Remove support for the front fog lamp 

• Unclip the cable clip on the support (1) as needed.
• Loosen screw (2).
• Loosen the expanding rivet (3).
• Detach support (1) at the detents (arrow) and remove.

  • Install both supports for the fog lights 
  NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

  Install the support for the fog lights 

• Clip in the support (1) at the latch mechanisms (arrows).
• Insert the expanding rivets (3).
• Clip in the cable clip on the support (1) as needed.
• Tighten down screw (2).
