65 81 060 Removing and installing/replacing outside temperature sensor - V.2 (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Removal: 

Release expanding rivet (1).

Unscrew the screws (2).

Partially detach the wheel arch trim panel (3) in the area of the bumper cover.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Pull the outside temperature sensor (2) out of the bumper cover.

Installation: 

Insert the outside temperature sensor (1) into the bumper cover (2).

Connect and lock plug connection (1).

Attach the wheel arch trim panel (3) in the area of the bumper cover.

Tighten down screws (2).

Fasten the expanding rivet (1).
