66 20 517 Removing and installing/replacing an ultrasonic sensor at front center left (inside) (Park Distance Control) (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed:

REMOVING FRONT BUMPER COVER .

Removal:

Unlock detents (1).

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Pull the ultrasonic sensor (3) out of the holder toward the top

Installation:

NOTE: Make sure the rubber ring (1) is fitted correctly on the ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Clean the plug connection prior to installing the ultrasonic sensor (2) on the wiring harness!
Safety catches (1) of ultrasonic sensor (2) must engage exactly in mountings (3).

Install the ultrasonic sensor (3) in the holder and engage it at the detents (1).

Connect plug connection (2) and lock.

Required reworking:

Install FRONT BUMPER COVER .
