66 20 515 Removing and installing/replacing an ultrasonic sensor at front right (outside) (Park Distance Control) (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed:

Partially remove the FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER .

Removal:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release catches (2).

Remove the ultrasonic sensor (3).

Installation:

NOTE: Make sure the rubber ring (1) is correctly fitted on the ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Clean the plug connection before installing the ultrasonic sensor (2) on the wiring harness!
Safety catches (1) of ultrasonic sensor (2) must engage exactly in mountings (3).

Connect and lock plug connection (1).

Latch ultrasonic sensor (3) into holder.

Required reworking:

Install FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
