66 20 537 Removing and installing/replacing one rear middle right ultrasonic sensor (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Work on the exhaust system may only be carried out when it has cooled down!

Removal:

Loosen screws (1).

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unlock the detents at the marks (arrow).

Remove the ultrasonic sensor (2) from the holder.

Installation:

NOTE: Make sure the rubber ring (1) is correctly fitted on the ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Clean the plug connection prior to installing the ultrasonic sensor (2) on the wiring harness!
Safety catches (1) of ultrasonic sensor (2) must engage exactly in mountings (3).

Latch ultrasonic sensor (2) into holder.

Connect and lock plug connection (1).

Tighten down screws (1).
