66 20 534 Removing and installing/replacing a rear left ultrasonic sensor (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Work on the exhaust system may only be carried out when it has cooled down!

Removal:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Unlock detents (2).

Detach the ultrasonic sensor from the holder.

NOTE: Make sure the rubber ring (1) is correctly fitted on the ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Clean the plug connection prior to installing the ultrasonic sensor (2) on the wiring harness!
The safety catches (1) of the ultrasonic sensor (2) must engage exactly in the mountings (3).

Insert and engage the ultrasonic sensor (2) in the holder.

Connect and lock plug connection (1).
