66 20 515 Removing and installing/replacing an ultrasonic sensor at front left (outside) (Park Distance Control) (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed:

Partially remove the FRONT LEFT WHEEL ARCH COVER .

Removal:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release catches (2).

Remove the ultrasonic sensor (3).

Installation:

NOTE: Make sure the rubber ring (1) is fitted correctly on the ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Clean the plug connection before installing the ultrasonic sensor (2) on the wiring harness!
The safety catches (1) of the ultrasonic sensor (2) must engage exactly in the mountings (3).

Connect and lock plug connection (1).

Latch ultrasonic sensor (3) into holder.

Required reworking:

Mount FRONT LEFT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
