Adjusting left or right windshield wiper (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)
Special tools required:
- 61 6 100
A correctly adjusted angle of attack of the wiper arms to the windshield increases the wiping quality. Consult the vehicle specific repair instructions for adjustments.
A/B = Distance between the wiper blade (2) and trim panel on the cowl panel (1)
NOTE:
Measurement is taken at the height of the mounting (3) for the windshield wiper arms
C= Angle of attack between wiper blade center plane and windshield
When adjusting with special tool 61 6 100, set the scale value in accordance with the following table.
For RHD vehicles, change the preceding sign of the scale values.
- LHD cars, scale range 0 to -10
- RHD cars, scale range 0 to +10
