41 62 014 Adjusting Trunk Lid Rep-Rep-RAF5641-4162014 - V.2 (Cooper 4-Door Hatchback And 2-Door Hatchback, 2020-2023)

Attention: 

Do not damage adjoining body parts.

Minor corrections (realignment work) are permitted if the existing adjustment options are not sufficient.

Observe BODY GAP DIMENSIONS REP-REP-RAF5541-4106200 - V.1 (COOPER 4-DOOR HATCHBACK, 2020-2023) .

The trunk lid must be provided with all attachment parts for correct adjustment.

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove the REAR SPOILER .
• Partially loosen rear HEADLINING .

Adjustment points for adjusting trunk lid to fit.

Slacken nut (1) on both sides.

Adjust trunk lid laterally, longitudinally and vertically. Tighten nuts.

If the range of adjustment is insufficient, slacken nut (1) on both sides.

Adjust height of trunk lid. Tighten nuts.

Required follow-up work: 

• Attach REAR SPOILER .
• Fasten rear HEADLINING .
• Tighten all nuts to the specified torque.

  Tightening torque 41 61 1AZ/2AZ .

• Installing the STRIKER if necessary.
• Adjust the TAILGATE LATCH if necessary.
• Adjust STOP PAD .
• Touch up unpainted surfaces in the appropriate color.
