52 26 400 Replacing seat cover for rear seat (Cooper 2-door hatchback models, 2020-2023)

Special tools required: 

• 52 0 050 

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove REAR SEAT .

Removal: 

Detach holder (1 and 2) from all-around seat frame.

Remove seat frame (1) from seat cover with upholstery.

Detaching cover and upholstery:

• Disconnect all clamps in marked area
• Remove seat cover from upholstery
• Remove all remnants of guard controls from cover and padding

Installation: 

Pull cover over upholstery.

Mount clamps.

Parts: 

Replace upholstery clamps.

Insert new clamp (2) with special tool 52 0 050  and bend closed.

2. Clamp
3. Trim wire in upholstery
4. Trim wire in seat cover
5. Seat cover

Parts: 

Replace upholstery clamps.

Position seat frame (1) on seat cover with upholstery.

Attach holder (1 and 2) all-around on seat frame.
