34 52 525 Replacing one front pulse sensor (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove front WHEEL .
• Partially detach front WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .

Removal: 

Release screw (1) and remove pulse sensor (2).

Remove cable from holder on spring strut.

Disengage cable from holders (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Installation: 

Clean hole for pulse sensor and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease, BMW part# 83 23 9 407 810 .

Attach brake pad wear sensor in holders (1).

Connect plug connection (2).

Install pulse sensor (2).

Insert screw (1) and tighten.

Tightening torque 34 51 4AZ .

Install cable in holder on spring strut.

Required follow-up work: 

• Install front WHEEL ARCH TRIM PANEL .
• Install WHEEL .
