67 62 000 Removing and installing or replacing flat motor for front left or right power electric windows (Cooper 4-door hatchback models, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed:

Remove SOUND INSULATION IN FRONT DOOR .

REMOVAL:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release nuts (2) and feed out window lift rail.

Unscrew the screws (1).

Detach flat motor (2) from power electric windows (3).

INSTALLATION:

NOTE: Diagram similar.
Make sure drive shaft (2) is correctly seated in mounting (1) at power electric windows (3)!
Ensure that the flat motor (2) is assembled without tension.

Position flat motor (2) correctly on power electric windows (3).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 33 4AZ .

Feed in window lift rail and position it properly.

Tighten down nuts (2).

Tightening torque 51 33 1AZ .

Connect the connector (1).

Required reworking:

Install SOUND INSULATION IN FRONT DOOR .

An initialization must be carried out in order to activate crush guard.

Read and comply with NOTES on initialization of power electric windows.
