54 13 200 Replacing drive cable (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove MECHANISM FOR GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF PANEL .
• Remove ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF .

Removal:

Slide drive cable (1) fully to the rear and pull out from frame (2).

Installation:

Feed in drive cable (1) from the rear into frame (2).

Slide drive cable (1) completely towards the front to stop in area (A).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install ELECTRIC MOTOR FOR SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF .
• Install MECHANISM FOR GLASS SLIDE/TILT SUNROOF PANEL .
