51 34 171 Replacing rear left or right door window (Cooper 4-door hatchback models, 2020-2023)
WARNING:

Carry out work on the power windows only when the power window motor is deenergized (unplug connector).
Carry out work on the power windows only when the power window motor is deenergized (unplug connector).
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove SOUND INSULATION ON REAR DOOR .
- Remove OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Partially remove the RUBBER WINDOW SEAL (in the rear)
Removal:
Shift door window glass (1) until the stop of the stand (2) can be operated.
IMPORTANT:
Injury hazard!
Disconnect plug connection at power window motor (pinch hazard).
Disconnect plug connection at power window motor (pinch hazard).
Press the stop of the stand (2) outwards using a screwdriver and feed out the door window glass (1) towards the top.
Installation:
Feed in door window glass (1).
Engage door window glass (1) in the stop of the stand (2).
NOTE:
Door window glass (1) must engage properly.
Required follow-up work:
- Install SOUND INSULATION ON REAR DOOR .
- Install the RUBBER WINDOW SEAL (in the rear)
- Install OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
