51 46 050 Removing and installing/replacing top cover on tail panel (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR COVERING .

REMOVAL: 

Release expanding rivet (1).

Feed out cover (2) inwards/towards the top and remove.

If necessary, slightly release edge protection (3).

INSTALLATION: 

Feed in cover (2).

Make sure edge protection (3) is correctly seated.

Install expanding rivet (1).

Replace faulty expander rivets.
