Install right output shaft

Radial shaft seal damage.
Taping the sealing lip (inner) on the radial shaft seal with the sharp-edged connector gearing of the output shaft will result in destruction and/or leaks.

Taping the sealing lip (inner) on the radial shaft seal with the sharp-edged connector gearing of the output shaft will result in destruction and/or leaks.
- When inserting the output shaft, make sure that the connector gearing of the output shaft does not tap the sealing lip (inner) of the radial shaft seal.

If the driven shaft is reused, the circlip must be replaced.
If the driven shaft is reused, the circlip must be replaced.
- Check the gearing (1) of the right output shaft for damage and replace damaged parts if necessary.
- Clean the gearing (1) with a lint free cloth without any residue.
- Check the dust plate (2) for damage and replace if necessary.
- Replace the circlip (3).

- Coat the contact surfaces (4) using approved rear differential fluid.
- Turn swivel bearing (1) outwards.
- Cover the front subframe with a cloth (2).
- Feed the right output shaft (3) into the electric machine transmission in the arrow direction.NOTE: When threading in with the output shaft, position the circlip with the opening facing down.
- Press right output shaft (1) into the electric machine transmission up to the stop in the arrow direction.
The right output shaft (1) must snap in noticeably and audibly.
- Position the right output shaft (1) on wheel bearing in the arrow direction.
- Do not let the right output shaft (1) hang on the joint, if necessary tie it up.
- Remove the cloth (2).NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Position the ride height sensor (2) with the holder on the front axle support.
- Tighten down screw (3).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Ride height sensor holder to front axle support M6 tightening torque 8 Nm - Connect and lock connector (1) at ride height sensor (2).
