Installing left output shaft
NOTE:

Radial shaft seal damage.
Taping the sealing lip (inner) on the radial shaft seal with the sharp-edged connector gearing of the output shaft will result in destruction and/or leaks.

Taping the sealing lip (inner) on the radial shaft seal with the sharp-edged connector gearing of the output shaft will result in destruction and/or leaks.
- When inserting the output shaft, make sure that the connector gearing of the output shaft does not tap the sealing lip (inner) of the radial shaft seal.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Extreme force being required during installation is an indication that the component is damaged or deformed. Check component and replace if necessary.

- Check the gearing (1) of the left output shaft for damage, if necessary replace the damaged parts.
- Clean the gearing (1) with a lint free cloth without any residue.
- Check the dust plate (2), replace if necessary.
- Coat the contact surfaces (3) with the released transmission oil.
- Turn swivel bearing (1) outwards,
- Cover the front subframe with a cloth (2).
- Feed in left output shaft (3) in the arrow direction.
- Push the left output shaft (3) into the electric machine transmission up to the stop and position it on the outside of the wheel bearing.
Do not let the left output shaft (3) hang on the joint, if necessary tie it up.
- Remove the cloth (2).
- Replace screws (1).

- Tighten the screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Output shaft to electrical machine M12x71 Replace screw. Joining torque 25 Nm Angle of rotation 90°
