61 31 080 Removing and installing/replacing switch for hazard warning flashers (Cooper 4-door hatchback and 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed:

REMOVING CENTRAL INSTRUMENT .

Removal:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release switch for hazard warning lights system (2) at metal clamps and press out of central instrument.

Installation:

NOTE: Locking clamps on switch for hazard warning lights system (1) must not be or missing or damaged.
Make sure switch for hazard warning lights system (2) is correctly engaged.

Join switch for hazard warning lights system (2) in central instrument.

Connect connector (1) with switch for hazard warning lights system (2).
