Removing the left and right tail lights

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove tail light

Remove the trim on the tail light

Unclip the trim (1) with the special tool 0 490 527 (00 9 310).

Loosen screws.
Remove tail light (1) towards rear.
Unlock associated plug connection and disconnect.
