Install the impact absorber

Check the impact absorber (1) and the snap-in lugs (arrows) for damage and replace if necessary.

Carefully hook the impact absorber (1) at the bottom and then press it upwards.

Check impact absorber 2 for damage.
Replace damaged impact absorber 2.
Replace pedestrian protection sensor if required.
After an accident, the pedestrian protection sensor1 must always be replaced.
Insert the pedestrian protection sensor 1 into the impact absorber 2.
The pedestrian protection sensor must be routed correctly.
