Releasing tool for 12 V socket
Order number: 61 0 250
Information on use:
Top picture (1):
Turn head (1) of special tool 61 0 250 to the left as far as it will go so that the marks (2) are aligned. In this position, the pressure pins (see arrows) are located in the body of the special tool.
Bottom picture (2):
The pressure pins are extended by turning the head (1) by 90° to the right (see arrow).
The recesses (1) ensure the special tool automatically locks into the 12 V socket (2).
The tool does not reach the contacts (3) (positive pole of the 12 V socket). The tool can therefore not cause a short-circuit.
12 V socket removed for illustration purposes.
Insert tool carefully and not fully (small gap, see (3)) in the 12 V socket.
When slight resistance is felt, slowly turn special tool (1) to the left. As soon as it has reached the correct position, the special tool will slip fully into the 12 V socket.
Turn head of special tool to the right as described above.
Pull out special tool together with 12 V socket (4).
Using on vehicle
The marks (2) must always be in line when inserting the special tool (1) into the 12 V socket (3)!
Continue as described above.
Pull the special tool together with the 12 V socket out of the vehicle trim.
