Release the left and right output shaft from the wheel bearing

NOTE: Perform the steps on the left and right side.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Loosen the output shaft from the wheel bearing

Press brake pedal.
Loosen the collar screw (1).
Do not leave the output shaft hanging on the joint.
Tie up the output shaft if necessary.
