1165 TIGHTENING TORQUE OVERVIEW

Blow-off valve to exhaust turbocharger
M6		Tightening torque	9±1 Nm
Control rod for electric wastegate valve controller
M6 Always use a second open-end wrench (for counter support) to tighten the lock nut!		Tightening torque	6 ± 0.3 Nm
Electrical controller drive to exhaust turbocharger
Replace screws.	Tighten screws crosswise.
		Tightening torque	3 ± 0.5 Nm
Exhaust duct to holder
M6		Tightening torque	8 Nm
Exhaust turbocharger to cylinder head
M7 Observe tightening sequence (see illustration)! Replace nuts.		1. Joining torque	10 Nm
		2. Tightening torque	10 Nm
		3. Tightening torque	16 Nm
		4. Tightening torque	16 Nm
		5. Tightening torque	16 Nm
Heat shield to console/heat shield
M6		Tightening torque	8 Nm
Heat shield to cylinder head
M8		Tightening torque	19 Nm
Heat shield to trim strip
M6		Tightening torque	8 Nm
Trim strip at the cylinder head
M7		Tightening torque	18 Nm
