Removing and installing/replacing side panel on dashboard on left or right (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)
Special tools required:
- 00 9 327
When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).
Removal:
Detach edge protection (1) in area of side cover (2).
Unclip side panel (2) with the special tool 00 9 327 .
If necessary, unlock associated plug connection and disconnect.
Feed out side panel (2) and remove.
Installation:
Mount side panel (1).
Make sure that it is seated correctly on edge protection (2).
