Remove and install/replace seat height adjustment lever on left or right front seat (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)
Special tools required:
IMPORTANT:
- Microencapsulated screws must be coated with Loctite if they are to be reused
- Screw connection must be completed within 20 min. (start of harden)
- Microencapsulated screws must not be retightened.
- Thread of nut must be cleaned beforehand in event of repeated use
Removal:
Unclip cover (1) with special tool 2 298 505 .
Release screw (1) and remove lever (2).
Installation:
Position lever (2) and tighten screw (1).
Tightening torque 52 10 3AZ .
Insert cover (1) at bottom and engage in upwards direction.
