- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING REAR BUMPER PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE BUMPER COVER LOWER SECTION .
- Replace the rear bumper cover.
Parts: Bumper cover, rear
- Position the rear bumper cover correctly on the bumper cover lower section with the help of a support person.
- Remount any ultrasonic sensors.
