Installing the front end
CAUTION:

- Remove and install heavy components with the aid of another person/other persons.
- Position the front end (1) in front of the vehicle and attach the radiator hose (2) to the electrical machine electronics (EME) and lock it.
- Feed in the front end (1) on the guides (2) of the front subframe.
- Carefully feed in and correctly position the front end (1).
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Position the cross member (1) on the previously made marks on the wheel well (2).
- Tighten the screws (3).

- Replace screws (2).

- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
- Insert the wiring harness (2) and clip it in at all the holders.
- Position the coolant radiator (2) in arrow direction.
- Insert the locking pins (1) in arrow direction and tighten them.

- Connect the coolant hose (1).
- Make sure that the lock of the coolant hose (1) snaps in audibly.
- Connect connectors (2) and lock.
- Clip in the associated cable brackets.
- Connect the coolant hoses (1) to the coolant expansion tank (2).
- Make sure that the locks of the coolant hoses (1) snap-in audibly.
- Connect the coolant hose (1).
- Clip in the coolant hose (1) at the existing holders.
- Make sure that the lock of the coolant hose (1) snaps in audibly.
- Connect the coolant hoses (1) to the coolant pump (2).
- Make sure that the coolant hoses (1) snap-in audibly.
- Connect the coolant hose (1).
- Make sure that the clutch (2) snaps in audibly.
- Clip in coolant hose (1) at the holders (3).
- Check the seal (2) for damage and replace if necessary.
- Position the window washer pump (1) on the washer fluid reservoir for the window washer system and clip it in.
- Connect and lock all connectors of the wiring harness (1).
- Clip in wiring harness (1) on all cable brackets.
- Connect and lock all connectors of the wiring harness (1).
- Clip in wiring harness (1) on all cable brackets.
- Clip in the relay holder (2).
- Hook the Bowden cable for hood latch (3) at the Bowden cable bracket (1).
- Close the lid of the Bowden cable bracket (1) and clip in at the snap-in lugs.
- Clip in the Bowden cable bracket (1) at the front cross member (2).
- Position the covers (3).
- Secure expanding rivet (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).
