51 32 170 Removing and installing/replacing door window glass, front left or right (Cooper 4-door hatchback models, 2020-2023)
WARNING:

Carry out work on the power electric windows only when the power window motor is de-energized.
Carry out work on the power electric windows only when the power window motor is de-energized.
Preliminary work needed:
- Remove SOUND INSULATION IN FRONT DOOR .
- Remove OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
Removal:
Shift door window glass until the stop of the stand (1) can be operated via the recess on the guide rails.
IMPORTANT:
Injury hazard!
Disconnect plug connection at power window motor (pinch hazard).
Disconnect plug connection at power window motor (pinch hazard).
Operate the stop of the stand (1) in front and rear with a suitable tool and feed out the window upwards.
Installation:
Feed in the window into the door and engage into the stop of the stand (1).
NOTE:
Window has to be engaged properly.
Required reworking:
- Carry out functional check on power electric windows and crush guard
- Install OUTER WINDOW CHANNEL STRIP .
- Install SOUND INSULATION IN FRONT DOOR .
