65 12 072 Removing and installing/replacing amplifier (hi-fi system/Harman Kardon) (Cooper 2-door hatchback models, 2020-2023)
IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with NOTES
on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).
Preliminary work needed:
- Disconnect BATTERY GROUND LEAD .
- Remove TRUNK WHEEL ARCH PANEL ON LEFT .
REMOVAL:
Remove screw (1).
Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.
Remove amplifier (3) in arrow direction.
Replacement:
IN HARMAN KARDON VERSION, PERFORM VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND CODING .
INSTALLATION:
NOTE:
Lugs (1) must be correctly slid into guide (2).
Check that amplifier (3) is securely seated.
Check that amplifier (3) is securely seated.
Install amplifier (3) in arrow direction.
Tighten screw (1).
Join and lock plug connection (2).
Required reworking:
- Connect BATTERY GROUND LEAD .
- Install LEFT TRUNK WHEEL ARCH PANEL .
