66 20 517 Removing and installing/replacing a front center left (inside) ultrasonic transducer (Park Distance Control) (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed:

Remove FRONT BUMPER COVER .

REMOVAL:

Unlock detents (1).

Pull out ultrasonic sensor (2) upwards out of holder.

INSTALLATION:

NOTE: Make sure rubber ring (1) is correctly seated on ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Before installation of ultrasonic sensor (2) on wiring harness, clean plug connection!
Safety catches (1) of ultrasonic transducer (2) must engage exactly in mountings (3).

Engage ultrasonic sensor (2) in holder.
