66 20 515 Removing and installing/replacing a front left (outside) ultrasonic transducer (Park Distance Control) (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed:

PARTIALLY REMOVING WHEEL ARCH COVER AT FRONT LEFT .

REMOVAL:

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release catches (2).

Remove ultrasonic sensor (3).

INSTALLATION:

NOTE: Make sure rubber ring (1) is correctly seated on ultrasonic sensor (2).

NOTE: Before installation of ultrasonic sensor (2) on wiring harness, clean plug connection!
Safety catches (1) of ultrasonic transducer (2) must engage exactly in mountings (3).

Join and lock plug connection (1).

Engage ultrasonic sensor (3) in holder.

Required reworking:

Install FRONT LEFT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
