65 20 022 Remove and install/replace the roof-mounted antenna (Cooper 4-door hatchback and Cooper 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023)

Preliminary work needed:

Partially remove headlining. Refer to HEADLINING (WITHOUT SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF) or HEADLINING (WITH SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF) .

REMOVAL:

Unlock and disconnect plug connections at marked points.

Remove screw (1).

Tightening torque 65 20 1AZ .

Remove holder of antenna base (2) downwards.

Remove roof-mounted antenna (1) upwards.

Replacement:

Remount the ANTENNA AERIAL .

INSTALLATION:

Position roof-mounted antenna (1) correctly.

Position antenna base holder (2) correctly.

Tighten screw (1).

Tightening torque 65 20 1AZ .

Join and lock plug connections at marked points.

NOTE: Replacement:
Connection for DAB-L on the roof-mounted antenna omitted (white connector).
If necessary, tie back the remaining cable connection on the side of the vehicle so that rattling noise cannot occur.

Required reworking:

Fit the headlining. Refer to HEADLINING (WITHOUT SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF) or HEADLINING (WITH SLIDING/TILTING SUNROOF) .
